Welcome to the official worldwide web portal of one of Scotland's oldest clans, the Highland Clan MacNeacail, or as it is more widely known, Clan MacNicol. Its chiefs were long known as Nicolson of Scorrybreac, taking their territorial designation from their land near Portree on the Isle of Skye, but the Chief has adopted the original Gaelic surname of MacNeacail, from which the Clan now takes its name.  The Clan has very active participation in Clan Societies in Britain, North America and Australasia as well as locations in Europe.  These Clan Societies  make up The Highland Clan MacNeacail Federation.
