Burns Night is widely renowned as a commemoration of the famous Scottish poet Robert Burns' birthday. Every year on 25 January, this night is celebrated – and not just in Scotland but in spots around the world – with a feast showcasing the best of traditional Highlands cuisine. Join in with the local community or Clan MacNicol members for dinner and a wee dram in honor of the great poet!

Saint Columba holds a special place for all of Scotland for being one of the primary saints to bring Christianity to Alba. His feast day is especially important to Clan MacNicol as many of our ancestors and former Clan Chiefs are buried on Saint Columba's Island, on the Isle of Skye, where he formed an Abbey Church.

Take the time to celebrate the Feast of Saint Andrew, the patron on Scotland by attending a Saint Andrew's day event or just sharing a wee dram with some friends!

Each year residents of Northeast Florida and the surrounding areas gather and enjoy the athletics, music, food and fun of the Highland Games. Our Games continue to grow and reflect the deep connections and impact the Scots and their descendants have had on the United States-- Northeast Florida in particular. For 49 years, Scotland has been coming to Georgia with the Stone Mountain Highland Games and Scottish Festival! For our 50th Anniversary, Brigadoon returns with Friday events being held at the Hilton Northeast Atlanta Host hotel on October 14, 2022. On Saturday and Sunday, we will be transforming the meadows and meandering tree-lined paths of Stone Mountain Park for the weekend of October 15 and 16 2022 into the impressive mix of sights and sounds of a Scottish Highland Games presented in a uniquely southern style.
