Robert Burns Day

Every year on 25 January, this night is celebrated – and not just in Scotland but in spots around the world – with a feast showcasing the best of traditional Highlands cuisine. Join in with the local community or Clan MacNicol members for dinner and a wee dram in honor of the great poet!

Saint Columba's Day

Saint Columba holds a special place for all of Scotland for being one of the primary saints to bring Christianity to Alba. His feast day is especially important to Clan MacNicol as many of our ancestors and former Clan Chiefs are buried on Saint Columba's Island, on the Isle of Skye, where he formed an Abbey Church.

Due to a large section of rock being in a precarious position we have no closed the path beyond Battery Point. This is the same area that was affected by a landslide previously. We’ll endeavor to rectify in the coming weeks and reopen the path when it’s safe to do so. We would ask that you do not pass the signage and tape on the path marking the closure
