The Clan Land at Ben Chracaig Portree is a magnificent focus and heritage for all members of Clan MacNicol. Maintenance, insurance and upkeep are a constant which needs to be funded. Friends of Scorrybreac Lands was established so that those living anywhere in the world could still contribute to the maintenance and upkeep; by pledging and paying a sum equivalent to GBPounds 50 ($80) annually.

This Fund has recently been neglected and ignored!
For the past year the only amounts received were: 2 from Canada, 5 from USA (many did donate a small sum with their membership renewal to total $1350, thank you all) and 18 from Australia, plus New Zealand members paid for the replacement of a dilapidated bench on the Lands.To properly fund the works necessary and to have the Clan Lands in tip-top shape for next year’s 2014 World Gathering in July we aim for 60 members. It is not too late!
